Youth Care Network
We’re excited to announce the launch of a new private mental health practice dedicated to supporting the emotional well-being of young athletes—on and off the field. Our practice will offer Youth Mental Health First Aid specifically tailored for youth sports environments, equipping coaches, staff, parents, and organizations with the skills to recognize, respond to, and support mental health concerns early.
Youth sports can be a powerful space for growth, confidence, and connection—but they can also carry pressure, stress, identity challenges, and unspoken emotional struggles. Mental Health First Aid helps adults in sports settings learn how to:
- Recognize early warning signs of anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional distress
- Respond appropriately in moments of crisis or concern
- Reduce stigma and create a culture where mental health is treated with the same importance as physical health
- Support young athletes while guiding them toward professional help when needed
By integrating mental health education into youth sports, we’re helping build safer teams, stronger relationships, and more resilient athletes. Because developing the whole player means caring for both the mind and the body.
More details coming soon. Together, we can change the game—one conversation at a time.
